Description: Political polarization in the United States has become more pronounced than ever in the past few decades. From widely disparate information sources to deep partisan animosity, the ideological divide of US politics continues to shape national security initiatives both domestically and abroad. This has greatly influenced the narratives of US diplomacy in the Gulf, where some consider a divide between Middle Eastern "Republican Party countries" and "Democratic Party Countries." How does the US move forward on this issue and how do we expect this divide to continue influencing US politics in the region going forward.
