The long:

Al-Khwarizmi: The Inventor of Algebra differentiates itself through its’ multitude examples of the Golden Age of Islam through Al-Khwarizmi legacy. The novel portrays how the European Renaissance took inspiration from the Golden Age of Islam. It also demonstrated the expansion of the Muslim Empire within its’ region and movement across Spain and India. Overall, Al-Khawarizmi was known for his innovation of algebra and geometry in his published textbook, Kitab al-Jabr wal-Muquabala. His intellect and care for the intersection of mathematics and religion invigorated an entire generation of scholars. 

The read or not to read:

Definitely should read it in order to understand the impact of the Golden Age of Islam in today’s world of mathematics.
