Review by Andreanna Mond

The Short: Sanem’s parents give her an ultimatum: get married to the neighborhood goofball or get a real job…Spoiler alert! She gets a job.

The Long: This is a TV show in Turkish! Sanem’s sister, Leyla, brings Sanem to work so she can interview to be an errand girl. Sanem manages to get the job, meet the boss, and get invited to the company’s anniversary party all in one day! At this party, she is kissed by a stranger in the dark and then can’t find him in the light because she only knows what his shoes look like. Eventually, to get her dad out of debt, she enters into an agreement with Emre to sabotage his brother, Can, as Can tries to destroy the company. Hilarity ensues as Sanem balances secrets, her family, and her feelings.

To watch or not to watch: Watch! The show is paced well and has some intense moments between characters. It is based on realistic sibling and personal relationships, and has amazing set pieces. This show is a great entry into the realm of Turkish dramas!
