The long:

Rise of Empires: Ottoman is a Netflix docudrama documenting Mehmed II’s campaign to conquer Constantinople. The series explores Mehmed II’s childhood, rise to power, and desire to follow in the footsteps of other great conquerors like Alexander the Great. This series explores the diplomatic and military campaigns undertaken by both the Ottomans and Byzantines throughout the siege of Constantinople. 

To watch or not to watch:

My recommendation is to immediately add this series to your Netflix queue! It was one of my favorite shows to watch during quarantine.
