The Short

The Long 

Immediately following the fall of Saddam Hussien in 2003, news circulated of prisoners of war who had been found alive in the South of Iraq. Ahmed, the 12-year-old boy, follows his grandmother through Iraq as they search for Ahmed's father, who had been missing since the Gulf war in 1991. They journey from the mountains of Kurdistan to the sands of Babylon as Ahmed struggles to understand his grandmother's search, walking through the steps to find his father he had never known.
