CARTHAGINIAN

Out of all the ancient empires, Carthage is one of the most unique, daring, and prosperous ones. Its system of government, which dared to confront Rome's aggression, hunger for power, wealth, and war achievements, makes it stand out from the rest. At inception, Carthage wasn't built to soar on the global stage of power and influence. It was just a trade city and an annex city-state. It was built by Phoenicians on the North African coast as Africa’s commercial face and as a place for ships to dock. Its accessible location led to its prominence in trade, commerce, wealth, and power.
