A podcast that delves into breaking events occurring in the Middle East. Streaming from its offices in Amman, Jordan, Al Bawaba reports on the regional news that fails to be properly covered in mainstream media. 

The long: 

There is no typical subject matter for an episode of The Gateway. Each episode is distinct, and is dependent on the news that week. The show often brings in guests to present an expert’s view on the issue at hand. Hearing the question-answer format really allows for the listener to be present on the guest’s standpoint on the event. No prior knowledge on the MENA region is required to fully appreciate this podcast as the presenter gives a brief background of the week’s topic.
